
Using Social Media to Create a Lead Conversion Funnel

Background
When BODYBAR Pilates came to UpSwell, they were looking to grow their membership for their studio in East Wichita, Kansas. They had tried a few marketing tactics but found that costs were high and lead quality was low. They needed a marketing team to help refine their approach to bring in better leads at a lower cost, as well as integrating those leads with their existing CRM.
Solution
First, we consulted directly with their CRM company and ensured that leads from the social media campaign integrated seamlessly with their database and would be easily accessible to the entire team for working through their sales process. Then, we took their current member database to create lookalike audiences for targeting, as well as suppression lists to keep current members from seeing ads after conversion.
We then layered on awareness ads to increase reach and brand awareness, allowing us to retarget anyone who interacted with brand on social or visited their website. Finally, we used these various tactics to drive high-performing Lead Generation campaigns using branded videos and stills.
