At UpSwell, we’re dedicated to creating a positive impact on the lives of our clients and the communities we serve.
Part of our Core Values are: Be All In, Win As A Team, and Deliver Legendary Service, and we love to get volunteer opportunities to put those values on display. We take pride in supporting local organizations that align with our values, focusing on causes such as child protection, education, cancer research, and hunger relief. Through our commitment to paying it forward, we strive to make the world a better place, one good deed at a time. Whether it’s contributing to local charities or providing assistance to clients in need, UpSwell is devoted to empowering local businesses and organizations in our communities, helping them thrive in every possible way.
Community Charities We’ve Volunteered with:
North Fulton County Charities
We had the opportunity to give back to the greater Atlanta community by helping out at the North Fulton County Charities food bank and thrift store. This institution provides a critical life line to our community providing access to essential food and clothing for those in need. The important work NFCC does touches the lives of 8,500 individuals and families each year. NFCC aids our community, our neighbors, and potentially our friends.
For Earth Day, we partnered with Soles4Souls to help get new shoes and clothing to homeless children, and people in crisis situations around the world. We exceeded our goal of 100 pairs of shoes by donating 167 pairs of shoes and 204 articles of clothing to Soles4Souls.
For Thanksgiving, we worked with Must Ministries to assemble hygiene kits that will be donated to adults and families at the Hope House. Each employee wrote down what they are thankful for and we created a board full of love.
The Sandwich Project
At UpSwell, part of our Core Values are: Be All In, Win As A Team, and Deliver Legendary Service. This week, our team put those values on display to help our friends at The Sandwich Project - a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing sandwiches to the homeless and food insecure families in the Atlanta area. Our goal was to make 1,000 sandwiches in 2 hours, but, thanks to our legendary service team, we exceeded that goal with 1,097 sandwiches for the food insecure in our community!
How can we help?
Let us know if you have any volunteer opportunities in the metro Atlanta area.
